Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026. The legal agreement between us. We have done our best to write it in language actual humans can understand.

1. What These Terms Cover

These terms govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By using our site or hiring us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, that is totally fine. Just do not use the site or our services.

2. Our Services

WebMe Solutions builds custom websites and provides related digital services. Every project starts with a proposal that outlines exactly what we will deliver, how long it will take, and what it will cost. That proposal, once signed by both parties, becomes part of our agreement alongside these terms.

3. Project Timelines

We quote realistic timelines based on the scope you approve. Delays happen sometimes, and when they are on our end, we will communicate them immediately. When delays are caused by late feedback, content, or approvals from your side, the timeline adjusts accordingly. We will never ghost you, and we ask the same in return.

4. Payment Terms

We typically work on a 50% deposit to start, 50% on completion structure. For larger projects, we may split payments across milestones. Invoices are due within 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge. We accept bank transfer, PayPal, and major credit cards.

5. Intellectual Property

Once the final invoice is paid in full, you own the website we build for you. The design, content, and code are yours. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio and marketing unless you explicitly request a non disclosure arrangement before the project starts.

We use open source tools, libraries, and frameworks where appropriate. Those remain under their original licenses. We also use licensed fonts, icons, and stock imagery where needed. These licenses are typically transferrable to you, but we will confirm on a per project basis.

6. Revisions and Changes

Our proposals include a set number of revision rounds. Additional revisions beyond that scope are billed at our standard hourly rate. If you want to change the project scope mid way, we will discuss the impact on timeline and cost before proceeding. No surprises.

7. Hosting and Maintenance

We do not force you to host with us. If you want to host the site yourself, we will hand over everything you need. If you choose our hosting and maintenance plan, the terms of that plan are outlined in a separate agreement.

We offer 30 days of free bug fixes after launch. Bugs are things that do not work as agreed in the signed proposal. They do not include new features, design changes, or issues caused by third party services or your hosting environment.

8. Limitation of Liability

We build websites to high standards, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, zero bugs, or specific business results (like exact conversion rates or search rankings). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the project in question.

9. Termination

Either of us can end the project at any time. If you terminate, you pay for work completed up to that point. If we terminate (which we would only do in rare circumstances, like non payment or abusive behavior), we will hand over whatever work is complete and paid for.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Austin, Texas. We would rather work things out over a phone call though.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with the updated date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
